Boracay – Another Day in Paradise
We slept in…hey this was our vacation from vacation! So we wanted to splurged a bit. We went parasailing! I was very excited because it was my first time! Even though we got a little dizzy, we had a really good time! It gets a little bit scary when you are up there.
Later we wanted to explore Puka Beach on the northern tip of the island, there was a recommended restaurant called Puka Grande. We had lunch there, the food was good but portions where very small, it said that 1 plate served 3-4 and we ordered 2 plates and we were not full. The best part of the restaurant was the menu that read as follows: “Still standing after 17 years (despite unhealthy competition)”
After lunch we headed to the east side of the Island; Bulabog Beach, preferred for windsurfing. This side is not as developed as white beach but there were at least 3 luxury condominiums being built, about $150K quite pricey for the Philippines. Bulabog beach is just east of white beach, so we walked through D’mall and arrived to the center of white beach at sunset. It was beautiful!!!
The next day we woke up very early to return to Manila.
